If you've ever been mystified by purchasing ads for your book, Mandi and Bethany do a great job on breaking it down in one book.
The book explains the various online paid advertising options and shares tips on how to make them effective. It gives some a few examples of what did or didn't work for the authors in their experience which I find insightful.

They brush upon several different types of paid advertising methods and then they tell you their preferred method. This works for me because I'd like to skip exactly to the more effective methods but I enjoyed learning the other types if I choose to experiment. They do emphasize that it's a lot of trial and error to find the most effective ads but I think that's true with all marketing tactics.

If you're looking for an in depth step-by-step how to book on paid advertising or a specific type of method, this book is probably not for you. You won't find deep, detailed information on a particular method but this book is good for a general sense of what methods are available if you're new to marketing and advertising. This book is for those novice authors who have little to no experience with paid online advertising and are interested in increasing their understanding and knowledge.

Overall, a good useful break down of the various methods of online paid advertising for novice author's who are looking to market their books.

3.7 out of 5 rating for me!
