MINOR SPOILERS
I owe the author a huge apology, I've been given this book as an ARC 4 years ago. 4 YEARS! I've been meaning to pick it up to read but I had gotten busy and I forgot. My ARC TBR is longer than I care to admit and I have another book I need to read from this author. I plan to pick it up soon, especially after how much I enjoyed this book.
Ok, I'm not a reality show watcher so shows like The Bachelor and The Bachelorette aren't things I care to watch. However, I picked this book up and I wish I had picked it up sooner! I regret that I waited so long to start this book!
Right off the bat we are introduced to Rochelle who is a contestant for a good cause. I liked her and feel like she thought fairly logically except when emotions were involved (but that would be any person scorned). She's intelligent and independent so she's relatable in my humble opinion.
Grant is an enjoyable character too, I like how he is strong in his own right without being an "alpha male" that so many other romance authors write. He's kind and considerate. I liked how he wasn't all over the other contestants too and knew what he wanted and went after it.
I LOVED the crazy things Rochelle and Grant were willing to do. Rochelle to get voted off and Grant to keep her in. I found myself cackling at Rochelle's hijinks or embarrassed on her behalf. I could not do the things she did with that confidence. It makes for good entertainment material for sure!
I liked how the author sped past the boring parts of the reality TV but would have liked to see a bit more contestant interaction but it wasn't really necessary for the plot so I see why it was omitted.
Overall, a highly entertaining book that will have you laughing or cringing with second-hand embarrassment. Pick this book up if you want a fast and fluffy read that leaves you relaxed and feeling good.

4 out of 5 rating for me!
(An ARC was provided in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated in any other way.)
